Past President - Cushmeer Haines
Cushmeer H. Haines has more than 20 years of business development, enterprise technology solution sales and global account management experience working for companies such as IBM, Microsoft and Xerox. In addition, he has also held management and leadership positions at companies providing consulting, managed and strategic staffing solutions to clients in the Midwest area.
Currently, he serves as the Account Executive for Leidos Health, providing solutions that touch every primary aspect of the healthcare continuum from research to the patient bedside. Leidos Health works with a majority of the Federal organizations involved in healthcare as well as hundreds of health systems and hospitals.
Cushmeer received his BS in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio, and an MBA from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management in Strategic Management and Information & Decision Sciences. He has also completed the Mini-MBA in Health Care Information Management from the University of St. Thomas. He has been on the Minnesota HIMSS Board of Directors for over six years, serving on Programs, Sponsorship and currently as President Elect. Cushmeer also serves on various other boards, and is actively involved in the community where he has a passion for working with underprivileged youth and exposing them to various careers and opportunities in the field of Information Technology.

Treasurer, Joel Morrison
Joel Morrison currently serves as Healthcare Enterprise Account Executive for Connection Enterprise in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. Joel has been involved in healthcare for over 20 years and he holds an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. His background includes roles as radiologic technologist, PACS administrator, EHR administrator, clinic/billing manager, pharmacy technician and application trainer. Joel has a strong foundation in the areas of implementation, integration, interoperability, account management and strategic relationships. He has experience working for healthcare organizations including Ministry Health Care, Advanced Imaging, Bone & Joint Center, Siemens and Nuance; his combined clinical and technical background benefit him in comprehending your entire healthcare IT ecosystem from the data center to the providers, and encompassing all areas in-between.
Communications Chair - Mitch Knutson
Mitch Knutson brings over five years of experience in the healthcare and IT space, most notably with BAHAMA Consulting as a Talent Advisor. In this position, Mitch worked closely with IT leaders of healthcare organizations in the Twin Cities by providing consulting services to implement, optimize and upgrade different business systems, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Currently, Mitch works for Infor, a computer software provider, in an Account Executive role. In this position, Mitch partners with organizations to help implement industry specific CloudSuite applications.

Programs Director - Rebecca Kohler
Rebecca is currently the Director of Clinical Informatics at Hennepin Healthcare, a level 1 trauma center and safety net health care system in Minneapolis. She is passionate about ensuring that evidence-based clinical practice drives the implementation of technology, and that analytics are easily accessible and support decision making.
Rebecca is a nurse by background, caring for patients from infancy to adulthood in both the clinic and hospital setting. While studying for her MPH, she was a research coordinator. She transitioned into the IS field when Hennepin was implementing Epic, and was an analyst, trainer, and later manager in the electronic health records department. She moved into the newly developing Informatics department in 2014, and has seen that department quadruple in size and span of services within 3 years.
Rebecca is excited to partner with other organizations within Minnesota to advance the use of technology and analytics in health care.
Student Affairs - Betsy Keenan-Brown
Betsy has spent the past 15 years in healthcare working for MN care delivery systems in both leadership and technical roles. Her experience spans the areas of Data Analytics, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle and Finance. She also has advanced Lean training and experience in a healthcare setting, and is a graduate of the Advanced Training Program in clinical quality improvement through Intermountain Healthcare. The majority of her career has been focused on improving healthcare through the optimal implementation of data analytics and technology as a means to rapidly transform healthcare delivery.
Betsy currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical and Population Health Analytics for Fairview Health Services. In this role she supports the data and information needs for all clinical operations, quality and patient safety, and population health. She also has accountability for the enterprise data governance and analytic education programs. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Mary’s University, is TOGAF certified, and keeps current countless of technical and EHR-related certifications. play classic rock covers at local community events.
Member Relations - Ram Rajagopalan
Ram Rajagopalan heads Strategic Program at Health Factors, a Med-Tech company, which aims to launch solutions that not only provide clinical benefit, but make data actionable, leverage proven outcomes, and improve access to care. Ram’s current focus is on Therapeutic Transformation Services which enhances care delivery, reimbursement, and patient-centricity. Therapeutic Transformation is a more comprehensive approach to value- based healthcare as because it can improve health outcomes while reducing the cost of treatment. He is an alum of the Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota and Clemson University.
At Large Member - Chair of Technology, Jeff King
Jeff has over 25 years in IT Technical Services and Business Process Analysis. He has worked with companies to improve strategic business processes in the area of document workflow, print migration, network systems, tailored software, and integrated security solutions. Jeff works with local and national companies such as Medica, Allianz Life and HCMC.
As Loffler’s Chief Technology Officer, Jeff is part of the team responsible for strategic planning and management with a focus on healthcare IT.
Advocacy Chair - Dharani Ramamoorthy
Dharani Ramamoorthy is the CEO and founder of Xylo Technologies Inc. He has accumulated over fifteen (15) years of project management, systems administration, software development and IT consulting experience. His prior work experience includes companies such as Mayo Clinic, IBM and Seagate where he served as a senior IT consultant. His expertise covers a vast arena of programming languages, projects including: database driven web and client server applications. During his tenure as a consultant at Mayo, he was part of the team which developed an Enterprise Image Viewer application called QReads which is used by Clinicians to view different image modalities and the associated radiology reports in the same application.
Dharani’s passion for customer satisfaction is evidenced by Xylo’s growth from one person to a 65 employee business enterprise in 8 years. Member At Large - Rebecca Gallik
Rebecca Gallik has over 17 years of healthcare experience working for both large and rural health systems. Throughout her career she has supported overall IT operations, EHR implementation and optimization, data analytics programs, and information security. Rebecca joined Medtronic's Digital Health division in July of 2018 as a Senior Principal Technologist. In her new position, Rebecca is responsible for supporting and building out a framework for engaging and partnering with Hospital IT leaders, as well as enabling the alignment of technology standards across Medtronic solutions with hospital requirements. Rebecca provides internal consulting services to Medtronic business units on the hospital IT ecosystem, EHR technical and data capabilities, and trends in health IT. Rebecca has a passion for leveraging healthcare data to create value.
Rebecca holds a BA in Business Management, an MBA with concentrations in Healthcare Administration and IT Leadership, and is currently working on her MS in Data Analytics. She has held certifications by Epic in Inpatient Clinical Documentation from 2011 - 2018. In 2018 she was certified by ISACA as a Certified Information Security Manager.

Brittany is a Director of Business Relationship Management at MHealth Fairview focused on convergence of business and IT strategy. Prior to this work she served as the Associate CIO at the University of Minnesota. Serving UMN for 15 years, she had responsibility for ensuring enterprise IT service delivery was aligned with the strategic priorities of the institution while meeting end user needs and expectations. Prior to joining the University, Brittany worked for Arthur Andersen doing higher education consulting focused around strategy alignment, business process redesign, and research administration.
Member At Large - Nadia Ayoubzadeh
Nadia Ayoubzadeh is currently the Director of Information Services and Clinical Engineering at Allina Health, a not-for-profit large health system. Nadia directly oversees the operations of a $45M organization that has been recognized as top tier in the country. For nearly two decades, Nadia has worked to transform and unify the medical device and information technology industries into a seamless experience for healthcare consumers. Respected as a technology savvy strategist, she led the successful design and launch of an advanced medical device cybersecurity program. She is now spearheading the transformation of IT and biomed from a transactional service to one that is delivering integrated and impactful innovation at an enterprise level. Previously, Nadia served as the Director of Quality, Technical Services, and Manufacturer Services at UHS/Agility, a medical device services organization. During this time she drove rapid revenue growth by establishing new national programs and increasing the quality of operations.
Nadia holds an MBA from Washington State University, a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of MInnesota, and is certified in Project Management, Six Sigma and ITIL. Nadia enjoys community building and is actively involved in mentoring and empowering children and pre-teens.
