Call for Speaker Proposals

The 16th Annual HIMSS Minnesota Conference will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Crown Plaza in Plymouth, MN.  The theme for this year's conference is IT's About the Patient. This conference brings together HIMSS members and non-members to share their knowledge and learn about current events in healthcare IT throughout Minnesota.  In order to ensure good representation and access to knowledgeable speakers, we are sending this call for presentation proposals for the conference

Abstracts for speakers are due 5pm Friday, February 17, 2017.  If you are passionate about sharing a great success story or know of others who might be interested in presenting, please review the abstract submission link below.  There are three tracks for presentations: 

  1. Analytics

  2. Mobile and Portal computing

  3. Clinical Informatics

The deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017.  Selected participants will be notified by early March.  Selected participants must notify HIMSS of their acceptance within three days of notification and register for the conference by March 31, 2017.  The registration fee for the conference is waived for selected participants.

Please note:  Download and complete the form and attach your submission to an email to mn.programs@himsschapter.org. Submissions that do not include a short speaker biography will not be considered.  Please remember to include your email address and phone/contact information.
